Tata Punch 4th Service Cost & Experience | Full Review After 18,000 km

Welcome back to the blog! In today’s post, I’ll walk you through my Tata Punch’s 4th service experience. My car has now completed 18,222 kilometers, and it is time for the next service. I had gotten the third service done a bit early, so this service was due soon anyway.

Why 4th Service Now?

Even though the car had only covered 18,222 km, I decided to go for the 4th service since the last one was done early. It was a minor service, so mainly general checkups and basic maintenance were on the list.

If you haven’t seen my full breakdown of the Tata Punch maintenance cost till now, check out the detailed video [https://youtu.be/nkKy2qu6Qu0] – it covers all previous expenses in-depth.

Route & Service Center

The service center is around 20 km from my home. I used to go to Agra before, but now I prefer Magan Motors, Fatehabad, a new Tata Motors service center. The best part? It’s relatively new, so less crowd, smoother service, and they now even recognize me, which makes the whole process quicker and friendlier.

CNG Indicator Confusion

A lot of viewers had commented on my CNG mileage test video that the fuel bars on CNG fluctuate strangely. I noticed the same again today – one bar disappeared mid-drive and came back again. It's definitely something Tata should look into for better accuracy.

I also filled CNG again, and luckily, there wasn’t much of a queue despite it being Sunday. The pump was just a few minutes from home, making it super convenient.

Inside the Service Center

I reached the service center around 1 PM, and although I couldn’t shoot the actual servicing process due to restrictions, here’s what happened:

  • A slight engine noise was being heard, but it turned out to be from the tires. After cleaning and checking, the noise was reduced.

  • Wiper blades were causing screeching on the windshield – they checked it, but no major issues.

  • There was a minor issue with the CNG fuel gauge, where the level was fluctuating. The service team said it’s normal unless the part is actually damaged.

Final Bill & Service Cost

Here’s the cost breakdown for the 4th service:

ItemCost (INR)
Minor Service Labor₹750
GST & Taxes₹165
Total Paid₹919

I avoided extra charges like:

  • Car Shampoo

  • Tire Polish

  • Seat & Handle Covers

These are optional, so make sure to request removal if you don’t need them.

Final Thoughts

The overall service experience was smooth and satisfactory. The team at Magan Motors was polite, and despite a bit of delay in the invoicing process, I was happy with the outcome. The car looked fresh and shiny post-wash!

What’s Next?

My next service is due after another 7,000 km, so that’ll likely be around the 25,000 km mark.
